Myth 3: "Supplements are only for body builders and athletes."

Fact 3: Not true. People from all walks of life can benefit from supplements at certain times in their lives, particularly if they do not or cannot regularly eat a varied diet, or if they have an increased requirement for certain nutrients (see Facts 1 and 2). In fact, contrary to popular belief, the vitamin and mineral requirements of athletes may not be very different from the average individual.
